City Council District 2 Forum – Saturday, August 24th

This forum will give District 2 residents another opportunity to assess the current roster of CCD-2 candidates. Ike Benton, the incumbent since 2005, faces strong challenges in the November election.
For those who support Councilor Benton, this is an opportunity to show your support. For those who don’t, once again, we have a situation where a split vote could result in your candidate coming up short. Please attend this forum and educate yourselves on the candidates: Ike, Zack Quintero, Robert Blanquero Nelson, Steven Baca, Connie Vigil and Joseph Griegos*. – the likely scenario, with an informed electorate, will be a runoff election if there is good turnout.
The heart of what we do is educating and activating our neighbors in an effort to get out the vote (GOTV).
