NWNM Virtual Candidate Forum

Nasty Women New Mexico Democratic Primary Virtual Forum for District 20 candidates:

Idalia Lechuga-Tena
Nancy Savage
Rebecca “Puck” Stair
STRUCTURE:
Each candidate will be asked the same four questions. The four questions will cover these topics: 
  • Reproductive Rights; 
  • Budget Issues; 
  • What changes might we see in New Mexico after the COVID-19 crisis passes; and,
  • The environment.
Each candidate will have a total of 20 minutes. The 20 minutes includes time to answer and provide follow-up (if needed) for each specific question.  Viewers may submit questions via the “chat” function and, if time permits, the candidates will be asked these additional questions. Candidates will be offered one minute for a closing statement at the end of her/his forum. 
We will have one candidate participate at a time; with approximately one to three minutes in-between candidates. To maintain the legitimacy of the individual candidates and their views, each candidate will have a specific time to answer questions but otherwise will not be allowed to view the questions and answers of the other candidates.
The entire forum will be recorded and will be made available to NWNM members on our website and Slack platform, and will be made available on YouTube.
