Bear with us – there’s A LOT a lot to do in terms of getting up to speed on where we want to go with the above initiative. We need to research, educate, and examine our feelings surrounding these issues so that when immediate action is required, ideally, we are ready and equipped to make an impact.
However, there will also be things which are going to come up that will be time sensitive. We may not be ready for Primetime, but we’ll be posting those ACTION ITEMS here.

8/14/2020 Update:
Monday 8/12 ABQ City Council meeting–two resolutions to support:
- R-20-65 Prohibiting APD from acquiring military equipment through federal program, plus providing an inventory of military equipment APD has now. (Davis, Sena) (edited)
- R-20-75 To re-commit and strengthen ABQ’s addressing racial and social inequities. (Sena, Pena, & Borrego)The online comments must be submitted by 1:00 PM Monday and there will be a limit of 15 persons to speak live in the virtual meeting, also registered by 1:00 PM.
